CATS Cambridge student secures place at UCL to study Architecture

We are proud to share that CATS Cambridge student Swan, from Myanmar, has received a number of impressive university offers, including an offer to study Architecture at University College London (UCL).

Swan’s offer to study Architecture at UCL is a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication. At CATS Cambridge, students aspiring to study Architecture benefit from a strong A Level Art and Design programme that includes personalised academic coaching, artist workshops, portfolio support from both teachers and UCL students, and regular feedback sessions. This comprehensive support equips them with the skills and confidence to stand out in highly competitive university applications. As a result, each year students secure places at top architecture schools, including the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL—consistently ranked #1 globally by the QS World University Rankings for Architecture and the Built Environment.

He has also secured a place at The University of Edinburgh, one of the UK’s most prestigious institutions and a member of the Russell Group. Its Architecture programme is known for its strong emphasis on design thinking and sustainability.

Swan joined CATS Cambridge with a clear ambition to pursue a career in Architecture. With a strong academic focus and creative flair, he has worked hard both in and out of the classroom to prepare for the competitive university application process.

In addition to his offer from UCL and The University of Edinburgh, Swan received offers for Architecture from the University of Manchester and the University of Sheffield.

Further demonstrating his academic strengths, Swan won first place in the prestigious Homerton College, Cambridge essay competition, an achievement that highlights his academic versatility and intellectual curiosity.

Congratulations to Swan on this outstanding set of offers. We look forward to seeing all that he will go on to achieve at UCL and beyond.
