Living at CATS Cambridge
All CATS Cambridge accommodation is located on one campus, allowing students to make the most of our excellent on-site facilities, including outdoor sports areas, the canteen, and laundry rooms.
At CATS Cambridge, we offer two accommodation options designed to meet students’ different needs and preferences. Elizabeth House, which is connected to the main school building, offers single en-suite rooms for students aged 14–17. Darwin House, located less than 50 metres from the main teaching building, will open in June 2026. This new residence will enable CATS Cambridge to create a fully cohesive campus, with all teaching and accommodation facilities conveniently located together.

House parents
We pride ourselves on our happy school community. Our team of live-in House Parents are always on hand to provide the highest standard of safety and pastoral care and help students settle into their residences by creating a home away from home. House Parents also make teachers aware of issues that happen outside of the classroom such as homesickness or trouble with homework, so every student is fully supported.
Premium accommodation
You can take advantage of more space to study, relax and socialise with our premium accommodation option. You will benefit from a larger area to live and work; with additional storage space, as well as your own personal welcome pack to make you more comfortable during the first few weeks.
Our Premium Rooms come complete with towels, bath robe, bed linen, storage solutions, laundry bag, power adaptors, extension cables, water bottle and other amenities to help students feel at home.
Elizabeth House
Elizabeth House is purpose-built for CATS students and is attached to the main building, providing a centrally located, single-site campus.
All rooms are single en-suite and offer shared social and common room spaces to make you feel at home. House Parents offer the highest standard of care, welfare and supervision for all of our students. One of the team of House Parents is awake 24 hours a day to provide help whenever needed, which is particularly helpful for our younger students.

Darwin House
Darwin House, opening in June 2026, is located on the CATS Cambridge campus less than 50 metres from the main teaching building. This new residence will enable CATS Cambridge to create a cohesive campus, bringing all teaching and accommodation facilities together in one place.
Darwin House offers 70 single en-suite bedrooms and 28 twin en-suite bedrooms. Each room includes a comfortable bed, desk, and wardrobe with ample storage for personal belongings, as well as a private en-suite bathroom.
Students can also enjoy access to common rooms and laundry facilities within the building. House Parents provide 24-hour supervision, ensuring the highest standards of care, welfare, and support.
